Sierra's new Red Baron Arcade released

Sierra released "Red Baron Arcade" for the PC on February 19, continuing their "Red Baron" game line. The game features 21 aircraft, 24 missions, and multiple modes for online multiplayer, which can host up to 8 players. See a video clip here.

They made it obvious for the hardcore simmers that this game is not meant to be a realistic simulator, but rather an arcade game. This is in the style of the older "Wings of War", which came out in 2004 and was released on the PC and Xbox.

Originally we heard news that this was supposed to be on Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA), but nothing new has been heard since then. Even stranger, the developer, Stainless Games, says on their product page that they're currently developing Red Baron Arcade into what will be Sierra's first release for the PS3. Hopefully this version will also have online multiplayer!
